ORDER 11.09.2026 Heard Mr. K. Kashyap, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. S. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Higher Education Department and Ms. K. Borpujari,
learned counsel for respondent no. 4.
2. This interlocutory application has been filed for impleadment of opposite parties 1, 2 and 3 who are sought to be arrayed as respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 in the accompanying WP(C) No. 7253/2022.
3. The counsel for the applicant submits that the writ petitioner has filed the writ petition for seeking a direction to consider the writ petitioner for the post of Assistant Professor on regular basis and to regularise the services of the petitioner with effect from the year 2015.
4. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is working as lecturer in the department of History in Sontali Anchalik College, Mahtoli, Kamrup (R). According to the applicant the respondents are refusing to accept the Ph.D Degree obtained by the applicant from Magadh University on the
Page No.# 3/3 ground that the degree is not obtained as per the UGC rules.
5. In view of such prayer made before the Court, it is the submitted by the applicant that unless the opposite parties are arrayed as party respondent in the accompanying writ petition as prayed for, there is a possibility that complete relief cannot be granted to the applicant as prayed for.
6. Mr. S. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Higher Education and Ms. P. Borpujari, learned counsel for respondent no.4 submits that they have no objection.
7. Considering the prayer made and upon perusal of the I.A. and also the writ petition, the I.A. stands allowed at this stage without issuing notice, permitting opposite parties 1, 2 and 3 to be arrayed as respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 in the accompanying WP(C) No. 7253/2022.
8. The applicant will file amended cause title within a period of one week from today.
9. The I.A. stands allowed and disposed of.
