The Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the Respondent No.2 in not deciding the Petitioner’s Appeal dated 04.03.2024 questioning the Proceedings issued by the Respondent No.3 vide Rc.No.65/A/GCON/KDP/2021, dated 24.02.2024, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The Petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation, i.e., 31.07.2021, and proposals were furnished to the Accountant General (A&E), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, for release of the pensionary benefits to the Petitioner. While processing the pensionary benefits, an excess amount was paid to the Petitioner with regard to the Automatic Advance Scheme increment in respect of S.P.P-1B contrary to the same, and the excess amount was sought to be recovered. Questioning the same, the Writ Petitioner filed an appeal before the Respondent No. 2. As the same was not being considered, the present Writ Petition was filed. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the Appeal of the Petitioner would be disposed of as expeditiously as 3 possible. 4. Heard the respective counsel. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) The Respondent No.2 is directed to dispose of the Appeal filed by the Petitioner dated 04.03.2024 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
