ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioners that father of petitioner No.1 late Sri.Pillareddy, filed an application in Form No.50 on 13.01.1981 seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of 1 acre and 26 guntas of land in Survey No.210/1 and 2 acres & 12 guntas, 1 acre and 35 guntas of land, which is

said to be in between Survey Nos.210/1, 211/1 and 211/2 of Muthsandra Village, Anegondanahalli Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bangalore Rural District but the application is still not considered. Therefore, the prayer in the petition is to direct the respondents to consider the said application. 3.
Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.1-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by petitioner No.1 before the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.1-Tahsildar, Hoskote Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether such application filed by the petitioner No.1 in the year 1981 is pending consideration. If it is found that such an application was indeed filed by the petitioner No.1 and the application is yet to be considered, the Tahsildar is directed to place before the Committee for

regularisation of unauthorised occupation, the application along with his recommendation within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Committee shall consider the said application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months. Ordered accordingly. Learned High Court Government Pleader is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today. Sd/- (R DEVDAS) JUDGE
