2. By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant, who is the review petitioner in the connected review petition, has prayed for condoning the delay of 32 days beyond the period of limitation in filing the connected review petition.

3. The learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant has recently come across an electoral roll of 1997, which would be relevant to the connected review petition. It is also submitted that some time was consumed in obtaining resources to file the connected review petition, and accordingly, by the time the connected review petition is filed, there has been an inadvertent delay of 32 days.
4. The learned standing counsel for the FT and Border matters has opposed the prayer on the ground that no good reasons have been assigned for condoning the delay.
5. Considering the projection made in this interlocutory application and the reasons assigned, the Court is of the considered opinion that the applicant has been able to make out a case for condoning the delay.
6. Accordingly, the said delay of 32 days beyond the period of limitation in filing the connected review petition is condoned.
7. Registry shall now register the connected review petition and list the matter before the Court.
8. Registry shall tag the records of WP(C) 6291/2017, which was
disposed of by judgment and order dated 24.04.2026, while listing the connected review petition.
