Shastri, A.P.P. ----- 02/ 14.01.2026 The petitioner is seeking regular bail, in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 128 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 3519 of 2025, registered for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code [later on cognizance has been taken under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code], pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that initially the FIR has been registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, however, after investigation, now the chargesheet has been submitted under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. He next submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 14.09.2025. He further submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent and disclosure to that effect has been made in para-19 of the petition 3. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that in the investigation, it has been transpired that the petitioner was taking with the deceased. 4. Considering that the chargesheet has been submitted in the case and further the petitioner is in judicial custody since 14.09.2025, I [2026:JHHC:927] -2- am inclined to release the petitioner, on regular bail. 5. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi, in connection with Namkum P.S.
