This bail application has been filed on behalf of Binod Saw @ Binod Kumar Saw who is in custody since 31.10.2025 in connection with Mahuatand P.S. Case No. 21 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 272, 274, 275 and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 47(a) of Excise Act pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. at Bermo at Tenughat, is pressed into motion. As per the FIR, total 189.9 liters of English wine and huge quantity of about 380 liters duplicate wine were seized from the place of occurrence when police conducted raid on the basis of secret information. It is said that this petitioner was involved in the illegal manufacturing of liquor without any valid licence. The seizure was made from Bolero vehicle and from open place. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he has no concern with the seized liquor and he is also not owner of the seized Bolero Vehicle from which the foreign liquor was seized. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
