1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that private respondents damaged petitioner’s property and assaulted the petitioner and also outraged her modesty. It is also submitted that in spite of lodging complaint before Bagnan PS same was not registered.
3. Mr. Mitra, learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 9th March, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Bagnan PS, Howrah and same is taken on record.
4. On perusal of the said communication, it appears that a criminal prosecution being Bagnan PS Case No.585/25 dated 15th September, 2025 under
Sections 329(4) /324(4) /115(2) /117(2)/ 76 / 303(2) /109 /351(2) /3(5) of BNS was initiated against accused persons.
5. In view of aforesaid steps taken by the concerned authorities of Bagnas PS it appears that grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
6. Writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Copy of the communication dated 9th March, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.
8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.) 2
