Faruque Ansari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pakur (M) P.S. Case No. 143/2025. It has been alleged that on account of an earlier dispute between the informant and the accused with respect to drainage, the accused persons had committed assault upon the informant and his son, molested the womenfolk and committed thefts of gold chain. When the persons of the locality had arrived, the accused persons have fled away. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It has been submitted that one of the co-accused Yasin Sk. has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 5573/2025. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 12-01-2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the generality of allegations levelled against the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Pakur in connection with Pakur (M) P.S.
