1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:-
2. The petition was listed before the Vacation Bench on 17th June, 2026, on which the Court declined stay of the demolition proceedings and listed the matter for today.

5. In terms of the status report, after following due process of law, demolition order was passed against the subject property on 11th February,
2026. Demolition action was planned for 17th March, 2026 and 27th March,
2026. However, the same could not be given effect to.
6. On 22nd May, 2026, demolition action was taken by demolishing the Chajja at the first floor of the subject property. A regularization application has been filed on behalf of petitioner which is pending consideration.
7. Taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition is
disposed of while directing the MCD to decide the regularization application within four (4) weeks from today.
8. Based on the decision of the regularization application, the MCD shall proceed to take action in accordance with law.
9. Liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies available in law in case the petitioner has any further grievance.
