Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits while pointing out to Annexure-K an order passed by the Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk in proceedings bearing No.RRT (TH) 92/2022-23 dated 25.05.2022, that the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11960 WP No. 6403 of 2026 Tahsildar directed restoration of the revenue entries in favour of the petitioner subject to the petitioner paying the arrears of land revenue, and to remove the forfeiture clause in the RTC. Learned Counsel submits that although the Tahsildar passed an order on 25.05.2022, till date the revenue entries have not been restored in favour of the petitioner while removing the forfeiture clause. Learned Counsel further submits that the petitioner has been informed that appropriate directions have to be issued by the Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore South Sub-Division enabling the Tahsildar to proceed to make the revenue entries and remove the forfeiture clause. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.3-Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore South Sub-Division and the respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk to proceed to collect the arrears of land revenue from the petitioner if not already paid and then remove the forfeiture clause and re-enter the name of the petitioner in - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11960 WP No. 6403 of 2026 the revenue records, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of the this order. 4.
