Shahdeo, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned P.P. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No.5978 of 2025. Renewing the prayer for bail of the petitioner, submission has been advanced that the petitioner is in custody since 23.07.2024. It has further been submitted that the petitioner was merely the driver of the vehicle. It has also been submitted that the transportation was being made on the instruction of the owner of the vehicle. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It seems from the allegation that from the truck which was being driven by the petitioner, 491.6 kg. of Ganja was recovered. Regard being had to the commercial quantity of Ganja recovered, I am not inclined to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner which stands rejected once again at this stage.
