The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 04.02.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.1519/2025 (KLR-RES). The operative part of the said order reads as under: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:7797-DB CCC No. 891 of 2025 "ORDER (i) Writ petition is allowed; (ii) Respondent No.3/Tahsildar is directed to consider petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2016 vide Annexure-C1 in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (iii) It is made clear that respondents shall not take any precipitative action till Tahsildar considers the recommendation made by the Land Grant Committee." 2. The accused had issued an endorsement rejecting the complainant's request for grant of Saguvali Chit, inter alia, on the ground that the granted land is within 5 kms of the boundary areas of Shidlaghatta City Council. 3. It is also recorded that the grant made by the Land Regularisation Committee was in violation of Section 94(A) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 and Rules 8 and 9 of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules, 1969. 4. In view of the above, we are unable to accept that any proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 are required to be initiated against the accused. 5. We, however, clarify that this order will not preclude the complainant from availing his remedy, disposing of the complainant's request for grant of Saguvali Chit.
