The petition has been preferred by the petitioners, who claim to have entered into a marital wedlock of their own free will and volition. They claim that they are major and have exercised their Right to Marry out of their free will. 02. This petition is filed on the apprehension that respondent Nos. 4 and 5 who are close relatives of petitioner No. 1, are interfering in their peaceful marital life and are threatening their life and property. 03. Heard the petitioners, who are present in person, and their learned counsel and gone through the documents placed on record in particular the date of birth certificate of petitioner No. 1. I am convinced that the petitioners are prima facie major and have entered in marriage of their own free will and volition. 04. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 3 to ensure that no loss is caused to the life and property of the petitioners by Sr. No. 38 -2- WP(C) No. 1645/2026 respondent Nos. 4 and 5. In case the petitioners approach respondent No. 3 with any complaint regarding threats from respondent Nos. 4 and 5, respondent No. 3 shall take immediate action as per law. 05. Disposed of.
