Yasir Arafat, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Amrapara P.S. Case No. 21/2026. The petitioner is alleged to have entered into the house of the informant and tried to commit rape upon her but he was apprehended at the spot. It seems from the First Information Report that the before causing any harm or bodily danger to the informant, the petitioner was apprehended. In fact, the petitioner had sustained some injuries. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is in custody since 09.04.2026. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M.
