This is an application praying for impleadment of one Shri Dharendrajit Barman, SDE, Sonai Electrical Sub-Division, CAR, APDCL, as respondent No. 8 in the connected writ petition, being WP(C) No. 4729/2026. The applicant/petitioner challenges the transfer and posting order dated 12.08.2026, wherein the petitioner, along with other employees, has been transferred and posted in different Electrical Sub-Division, APDCL. By the impugned order dated 18.08.2026, the applicant/ petitioner has been transferred from Udharbond Electrical Sub-Division to Central Stores Division, Silchar, and Shri Dharendrajit Barman, SDE, has been transferred to the applciant’s/petitioner’s earlier place of posting. Having considered above, I am of the considered view that the respondent sought to be impleaded appears to be a necessary party in the connected writ proceedings. Thus, I deem it appropriate to allow this interlocutory application.
