Heard Mr. Sahil, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Telaiya P.S. Case No. 05 of 2026.
It has been alleged that the petitioner and other co-accused persons were apprehended by the police and from the possession of the petitioner 1.02 grams of brown sugar and Rs. 28,700 cash were recovered.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the brown sugar which has been recovered from the petitioner is a small quantity. It has been submitted that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 12.01.2026.
Learned counsel submits that some of the co-accused persons have been granted bail in B.A. No. 1873 of 2026 and B.A. No. 2169 of 2026.
Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner, named above, is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act-cum-Sessions Judge, Koderma in connection with Telaiya P.S. Case No. 05 of 2026.
