BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 13.03.2026 Heard the learned counsel Mr. D K Baidya appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P Kakati, the learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. This application has been filed praying for deletion of the condition No. (d) appearing in the order dated 04.10.2018 passed by this Court in Bail Application No. 2021/2018. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. Now, as the charge sheet has been filed, the condition No. (2) has become redundant and therefore, the same stands deleted from the said order dated 04.10.2018 passed by this Court in Bail Application No. 2021/2018. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner comes from Nagaon town and it will be difficult on her to appear personally on the dates fixed by the Special Judge (Metro), Guwahati, Assam on the dates fixed by the trial court. Therefore, she prays that she may be allowed to be represented by her lawyer on those dates fixed by the court below. The prayer of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner Rumi Saikia shall be allowed to be represented by her lawyer.
