Mr. Rahul Thakur, learned Deputy Advocate General appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his request for transfer outside the tribal area upon completion of normal tenure prescribed in the transfer policy stands rejected in terms of Annexure P-4, dated 28.03.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed the Court that the petitioner was posted at his present place of posting on 31.10.2023. The perusal of the impugned order demonstrate that in terms thereof, the representation of the petitioner has been rejected on 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? the ground that the petitioner as on the date when the representation was decided has not yet completed his tenure of two winders and three summers. Now as we are in the month of July, 2026 and obviously the petitioner has completed three summers in addition to two winters, this petition is disposed of with direction that the authorities shall take fresh call on the request of the petitioner within six weeks from today and rejection order Annexure P-4, dated 28.03.2026 shall not come in the way of the authorities for posting the petitioner out of the tribal area. On the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to submit stations of his choice to the competent authority within one week from today.
