JUSTICE S SUNIL DUTT YADAV - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10660 WP No. 28892 of 2023 ORAL ORDER Learned counsel appearing for respondents No.2 and 3 has filed I.A.No.1/2026 and submits that this petition may be dismissed in light of the subsequent event, i.e. the petitioner had filed W.P.No.37219/2025 seeking to quash the General Award dated 24.08.2023 and for a direction to consider the allotment of developed site in lieu of cash compensation in terms of the Government Order dated 23.02.2021. 2. It is further submitted that the said writ petition has been allowed on 10.12.2025 with directions including the quashing of General Award dated 24.08.2023 and a further direction that the representations of petitioner in terms of the Government Order dated 23.02.2021 for developed lands in lieu of compensation has been directed to be considered. 3. In light of the said development which is not controverted by the petitioner, this petition is disposed of as not calling for adjudication, while the rights of petitioner - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10660 WP No. 28892 of 2023 as emanated from the directions issued in W.P.No.37219/202 are kept open.
