Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: “a) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other writ, order or direction, quashing the order dated 10-04-2000 866 bearing No. Na.E-66:HAS.99 passed by the 1st respondent Annexure-D, insofar as it relates to the petitioner and the schedule property is concerned; b) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Order or direction, directing the 4th Respondent to effect the E-Khatha of the Schedule Property in favour of the Petitioner, pursuant to the grant made in the year 1992 at Annexure-A; and. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10707 WP No. 5697 of 2026 c) Grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Both the counsels submit that the lis in the above matter has already been decided by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court by its order dated 20.03.2024 in WP No.15943/2022 and connected matter subsequently followed by other Co-ordinate Benches. Hence, submit that similar order could be passed in the present matter. 3. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i. Writ petition is allowed. ii. The impugned order dated 10.04.2000 bearing No.NA.E:66:HAS.99 passed by respondent No.1 at Annexure-D is quashed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10707 WP No. 5697 of 2026 iii. Respondent No.4 is directed to restore Katha in favour of the petitioner in respect of his property and also issue E-Katha. iv. It is observed that the restoration and issuance of E-katha would be subject to outcome of the proceedings that respondent No.1 can initiate within a reasonable period of time.
