The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Giridih (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 242 of 2023. It has been alleged that a raid has been conducted in Maa Tara Hotel and one miscreant involved in cybercrime, was apprehended and he had disclosed the names of his associates, who had fled away. The petitioner’s implication in this case is only on the confessional statement of the apprehended accused and there does not seem to be any other material collected to connect the petitioner in the commission of the offence. The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent as stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Cyber Crime), Giridih in connection with Giridih (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 242 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. This application stands allowed.
