Case No. 21 of 2025 arising out of Manatu P.S. Case No. 27 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 18(B) and 29 of N.D.P.S. Act and Section 33 of the Indian Forest Act pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the matter involves cultivation of opium in forest area. It is further submitted that there is no material except confessional statement of the co- accused Rajgeer Ganjhu, who has been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court and other similarly situated co-accused persons have also been granted bail. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below and security deposit of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand).
