The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take action against the unauthorized construction at property bearing no.16/1, Roshan Mandi, Village Masudabad, Najafgarh, New Delhi- 110043 (‘subject property’). 3. It is stated that the petitioners’ property is adjacent to the subject property and hence, they are affected by the unauthorized construction taking place at the subject property. It is also stated in the writ petition that the unauthorized construction at the subject property was booked and a Show Cause Notice was issued on 23rd March, 2026 followed by a Work Stop Notice dated 30th March, 2026 addressed to respondent no.3/SHO, P.S. Najafgarh. 5. Counsel for the petitioners submits that despite the aforesaid notices, the private respondent no.6 is continuing with the construction. 6. Mr. Abhinav Singh, counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of respondent-MCD submits that a demolition order in respect of the unauthorized construction has been issued on 13th April, 2026 and a further Work Stop Notice has been addressed to the SHO, P.S. Najafgarh on 2nd June, 2026. He further submits that communications have been sent to Electricity Department of respondent no.4/Delhi Jal Board and the Sub Registrar to take appropriate action. 7. Taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 8. The respondent no.3/SHO, P.S. Najafgarh shall ensure that no construction is carried out in the subject property. 9. In the event the petitioners have any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, they are at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law. 10.
