Sri Bal Mukund Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that House Rent Allowance for teaching and non-teaching staff of college was granted by order dated 31.01.2026 which has been revoked by the order impugned dated 30.07.2026. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue relating to House Rent Allowance has already been decided in the case of Uma Shanker Singh and others Vs State of U.P. and others (Writ-A No. 19106 of 2004) as decided on 18.09.2015. Learned Standing Counsel could not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the aforesaid judgment passed in Uma Shanker Singh (supra) the impugned order dated 23.07.2026 passed by respondent no. 3, District Inspector of Schools, Mirzapur is set aside. The writ petition is allowed in terms of orders passed in Uma Shanker Singh (supra).
