2026:JHHC:3844 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 12041 of 2025 ------ Ramjan Mian @ Ramjan Ansari @ Ramzan Ansari, son of Late Bandhu Ansari, resident of Village Nawatand, P.O. and P.S. Taratand, District Giridih .... .... …. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand .... .... .... Opp. Party CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GAUTAM KUMAR CHOUDHARY For the Petitioner : Mr. Vijay Kumar Roy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sudhir Kumar Mahto, A.P.P. For the Informant : ------ Order No.04 / Dated : 12.02.2026 Bail petition filed on behalf of the petitioner- Ramjan Mian @ Ramjan Ansari @ Ramzan Ansari, who is in custody since 10.11.2025 in connection with Taratand P.S. Case No. 32 of 2024 for the offence registered under Sections 80(2), 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Giridih, is pressed into motion. Informant is the brother of the deceased and the case has been lodged against entire family members, nine in numbers with an allegation that they had killed the deceased on 29.11.2024, who was married to Safaul Ansari on 12.12.2018. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the allegation of homicidal death has been falsified during investigation as the death was suicidal in nature caused by hanging. The husband and mother-in- law have already been enlarged on bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court and the case of this petitioner stands on similar footing, rather on better footing than that of the husband. Learned A.P.P. assisted by the learned counsel on behalf of the informant opposed the bail petition. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
