Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- a) “Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the Leave Encashment amount of approx. Rs.11,00,000/- to the petitioner immediately. b) Direct the respondents to pay interest @9% per annum (or as admissible) on the delayed payment from 01.05.2023 until actual payment. c) Direct respondent No.3 to immediately return the service book to respondent No.4 to facilitate the finalization of all pending dues.” 2 2. The Court stands informed that leave encashment of the petitioner was not released to him on account of the pendency of CWP No.4499 of 2019, which stands disposed of by this Court vide separate order of even date. 3. In light of this fact as there is now no impediment in the release of the leave encashment, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the leave encashment amount be now released to the petitioner forthwith. In case, the amount is released in favour of the petitioner on or before 30.07.2026, the same shall not entail any interest, but, if the amount is not released during the said period, then, it will also entail simple interest @ 6% per annum as from the date of this order. 4.
