Case No. 274 of 2024 for the offence registered under Section 96 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, POCSO Act Cases, Chatra, is pressed into motion. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected on merit and the present bail application is renewed on the ground that he is in custody since 04.11.2024 and out of ten witnesses, nine have been examined. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Considering the stage of trial, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
