The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No. 218 of 2024. It has been alleged that one Uday Shankar Jha had taken loan from the bank and defaulted in making payment. The agency of the petitioner had verified the credentials of Uday Shankar Jha. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the only allegation against the petitioner is of his agency making a verification of Uday Shankar Jha. Learned counsel submits that if he has defaulted in making payment of the loan, the petitioner cannot be criminally prosecuted. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction 2026:JHHC:15421 2 of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella-Kharsawan in connection with Adityapur P.
