The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 6103 of 2025. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he is in custody since 14.03.2025. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. The allegation reveals that on a raid conducted in the hut of the petitioner, commercial quantity of cough syrup which was buried under the ground were recovered. However, regard being had to the period of custody undergone by petitioner and the fact that he does not have any criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge at Sahibganj in connection with N.D.P.S.
