This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order date 26.11.2024 passed in WPS No.6470 of 2022. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that entire retiral dues have not been paid to petitioner and thereby respondents have committed contempt of order passed by this Court. 3. Learned counsel for respondents submits that writ petition bearing WPS No.6470 of 2022 is against proceeding drawn for recovery of excess payment made to petitioner and apart from adjusting the amount of gratuity deposited with the department of Rs.2,16,173/-, a sum of Rs.1,10,986/- is sought to be recovered mentioning that excess payment of Rs.3,26,757/- is paid to petitioner. After the writ petition is allowed by the order subject matter of contempt petition, respondents have disbursed the amount of gratuity with interest through cheque bearing No.851444 in the bank account of petitioner and total sum deposited was Rs.2,81,934/- 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner made an attempt to submit that order passed by this Court in WPS No.5137 of 2021 dated 23.09.2021 is not complied with as the entire retiral dues has not been paid to petitioner. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 6. Perusal of the pleadings made in contempt petition would show that contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 26.11.2024 passed in WPS No.6470 of 2022. 7. Learned counsel for respondents at this stage submits that pursuant to the order passed in WPS No. 6470 of 2022 as also 3 / 3 order subject matter of writ petition Annexure P-1, amount which is sought to be recovered has been released which prima facie appearing of full and final amount of retiral dues of Rs.2,81,934/- which also includes gratuity amount. 8. In the aforementioned facts of case, I do not find any good ground to continue with this contempt petition any further. Contempt proceeding is accordingly dropped. Notice issued to respondents stand discharged. 9. Contempt Petition is accordingly closed. 10. If for any reason, petitioner is aggrieved with regard to non- payment of any other dues, he will be at liberty to file appropriate proceeding specifying the amount which is still not paid by respondents.
