Affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. The ambit of the present writ petition is limited. An order was passed in Miscellaneous Case no.01 of 2013, according to the writ petitioners, by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer (B.L. & L.R.O.), Lalgola, of which a certified copy was sought by the writ petitioners. 3. Although initially a representation in that regard was erroneously made before the concerned District Land and Land Reforms Officer (D.L. & L.R.O), subsequently a representation was also made on July 30, 2025 to the B.L. & L.R.O., seeking the order-sheet of the said miscellaneous case, Page 2 which having not been furnished, the Original Application was preferred before the Tribunal. 4. By the impugned order, the learned Tribunal rejected the Original Application as not maintainable, apparently on the premise that the order was passed by the B.L. & L.R.O. whereas the certified copy was sought from the D.L. & L.R.O. 5. Since we find from the averments in the Original Application itself that the order passed in the concerned miscellaneous case, bearing Miscellaneous Case No.01 of 2013, was passed by the B.L. & L.R.O, Lalgola, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners were justified in applying for certified copy of the ordersheet of the said case from the said B.L. & L.R.O. However, upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, we find it unnecessary to relegate the parties again to the Tribunal for such innocuous relief. 6. Hence, WPLRT 201 of 2025 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.4, i.e., Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Lalgola to furnish certified copy of the order-sheet in respect of Miscellaneous case no.01 of 2013 to the writ petitioners, subject to the writ petitioners depositing the requisite costs for the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four Page 3 weeks from the date of communication of this order to the respondent no.4 and/or the application for such certified copy being made in appropriate format, whichever is later. 7. The impugned order dated November 3, 2025 passed by the Third Bench, West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, is accordingly set aside. 8. There shall be no order as to costs. 9. Parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order, duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 10. Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
