Petitioner is a tenant in respect of a shop. An eviction order was passed against him on 04.12.2024, passed by Additional District Magistrate, Uttarkashi. Petitioner has challenged the said order in this writ petition. 3. Petitioner’s counsel had made a statement at the time of preliminary hearing in this writ petition that petitioner would vacate the property in question within one year from today. 4. Today, the matter is listed on Time Extension Application (IA/3/2025). Petitioner’s counsel submits that petitioner may be given some more time to vacate the shop in question. 5. Mr. Niranjan Bhatt, learned counsel appearing for the landlord fairly submits that he has no objection if petitioner is given 2026:UHC:206 some reasonable time to vacate the shop in question. 6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by extending the time for vacating the shop in question till 01.05.2026. 7. Petitioner shall give an undertaking in the form of an affidavit before Additional District Magistrate within ten days from today that he will vacate the shop in question and handover vacant and peaceful possession thereof to the landlord on 01.05.2026. 8.
