CMP(M) No. 981 of 2026 Inter alia contends that the petitioner was engaged in the year 1994 in the Integrated Watershed Development Project Kandi (Hills), which came to an end in 2004. Thus, there was a gap in the employment, and after 16 years, the services of the employee were placed at the disposal of the Integrated Development Project, Sirmour, on 28th October, 2020. Reliance has been placed upon the averments made in paragraph 1 of the preliminary submissions of the written statement, while also placing on record the letter dated 20th October, 2020. It is thus submitted that the learned Single Judge, without taking this aspect into consideration, issued directions to grant work-charge status to the Class IV employee w.e.f. 1.1.2002, primarily on the pleadings that he had completed eight years of service by that date. Keeping in view the averments made in the application, duly supported by the affidavit of the official, delay of 162 days in filing the appeal is condoned The application stands disposed of. LPA No. ____ of 2026 & CMP No. ___ of 2026 Be registered. On taking steps within one week, issue notice to the respondent, returnable for 17th August, 2026.
