Case No.50 of 2026. The petitioner is alleged to have demanded extortion money from the informant. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that at the relevant point of time, the petitioner was in custody in Hazaribagh jail. It has further been submitted that the petitioner has 41 criminal antecedents; out of which, he has been acquitted in 29 cases. The name of the petitioner had transpired on the confession of co-accused. The petitioner is in custody since 25.04.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar in connection with Chandwa P.S.
