His statement is taken on record. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with leave and liberty to the petitioner to file appeal against the impugned engagement order in terms of the covenants of Government Order No. 222-JK(SWD) of 2022 dated 30.11.2022. The Appellate Authority shall entertain the appeal notwithstanding the fact that for filing the appeal, the prescribed period of limitation has already expired, provided the petitioner files the appeal before the said authority within a period of ten days from today.
