The present acquittal appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 01.10.2019 passed by learned District & Additional Sessions Judge- III-cum-Special Court, Electricity Act, Seraikella in G.R. Case No.619 of 2008 corresponding to Electricity Act Case No.184 of 2018, whereby the respondent has been acquitted from the charges levelled upon him. 2. Upon information, Adityapur P.S. Case No.171 of 2008 has been registered for the offence under Section 379 of IPC and Sections 135 and 138 of the Electricity Act. 2. There is delay of 591 days in filing the present acquittal appeal. 3. From perusal of office note, it appears that the accused is no more. 4. Thus, the present acquittal appeal stands abated. Accordingly, the present acquittal appeal is, hereby, disposed of as abated. 5. In view of the above order, I.A.
