GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief :- “…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the respondent No.lin registering the FIR in pursuant to the complaint dt. 23- 03-2026 and 29.03.2026 even inspite of the contents of the complaint clearly disclose the commission of cognizable offences of trespass, mischief, criminal intimidation etc., as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to Sec. 173 of BNSS and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to register the FIR in pursuant to the complaint dt. 29.03.2026for the offences of trespass, mischief, criminal intimidation etc pass such order(s).” 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Sri B. Parthasaradhi Reddy, learned Counsel for the Petitioner, submits that two complaints were submitted by the Petitioner on 23.03.2026 and 29.03.2026. However, the respondent police have not registered any case. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submits that, at the behest of the Petitioner, on an earlier occasion a case in Crime No. 464 of 2025 was registered. He further submits that the police have not registered the complaints of the Petitioner dated 23.03.2026 and 29.03.2026. 3 Dr.YLR, J W.P.No.11654 of 2026 Dated 30.04.2026 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Police to register the complaints of the Petitioner, if the same disclose the commission of a cognizable offence. In this regard, the Petitioner is required to resubmit the said complaints to Respondent No. 3 within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 6. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending shall stand closed. _________________________ DR. Y.
