Goswami, learned Special P.P submits that the case dairy/Offence Page No.# 2/3 report has not been received. 3. This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 whereby the petitioner, namely, Suren Rabha has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested on 19.07.2026 in connection with Case No. Forest Offence No. L/8 of 2026-27, registered under Sections 9/39/40/57 of AFR (Assam Forest Regulation) Act, 1891, read with Section 50/51(2)/51(1) (A) of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 at Office of the Range Officer, Lohargat Range, Lohargat. 4. The allegation against the petitioner was that the petitioner was found possession of a Chinese Pangolin (Manis Pentadactyla) at Balapur area near Bholagaon and on interrogation he failed to produce any documents to support such possession. 5. The petitioner was arrested on 19.07.2026 and since then has spent 52 days in custody. 6. Having regard to the nature of allegation as well as the period of detention undergone by the petitioner, prayer for bail is allowed. Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on a bail bond of ₹50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) only with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup, Amingaon in connection with Case No. Forest Offence No. L/8 of 2026-27, registered under Sections 9/39/40/57 of AFR (Assam Forest Regulation) Act, 1891, read with Section 50/51(2)/51(1) (A) of Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 at Office of the Range Officer, Lohargat Range, Lohargat. 7. It is further provided that the petitioner shall regularly participate in the Page No.# 3/3 trial and shall not try to tamper with the remaining witnesses and shall not indulge in similar offence in future. 8.
