The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pakur (T) P.S. Case No. 36/2026. It has been alleged that the accused persons had committed the murder of the husband of the informant by brutally assaulting him with knife. The CCTV footage reveals that the petitioner was found present at the place of occurrence. No overtact has been alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 08.03.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pakur in connection with Pakur (T) P.S.
