This Court, vide order dated 01.08.2025 passed in MCRC No. 6030 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Nikhil Chandrakar, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi:ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Raipur District-Raipur KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 16.01.2026 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case, due to the non-appearance of the prosecution witnesses, the evidence could not be recorded. Summons and bailable warrants were issued to the prosecution witnesses on 08.10.2025, 17.10.2025, 03.11.2025, 25.11.2025, and 12.01.2025, however, the witnesses failed to appear. On 12.01.2025, as the applicant appeared at about 5:00 PM, he was bound over for the next date of hearing :xed on 24.01.2025. It is therefore prayed that the time period for recording the evidence of prosecution witnesses be extended by four months. Therefore, an extension of four months’ is required for disposal of the case. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o5 with the aforesaid direction. 7.
