CRMP No. 1195 of 2026 This application has been filed for suspension of sentence imposed upon the applicant-appellant for commission of offence punishable under Section 302 of IPC and he has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life, after his conviction, vide judgment dated 12.12.2025 and order of sentence dated 17.12.2025. Appeal pertains to the year 2026. Admittedly, during pendency of trial also, applicant- appellant was undertrial prisoner and was not enlarged on bail. Now he is a convict and has been sentenced for life imprisonment. In aforesaid circumstances, we do not find any ground for suspension of sentence at this stage and, accordingly, application is dismissed.
Cr.A.(C-DB) No. 44 of 2026 Being admitted, appeal be listed for hearing in due course.
