Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's grandfather, Late Thimmaiah @ Thimmanna was granted 26 guntas of land in Sy.No.5 of Maligenahalli village, Kasaba Hobli, Devanahalli Taluk in terms of the Official Memorandum dated 29.01.1997 as found at Annexure - D. The Official Memorandum contains the names of nine persons and at Serial No.3 is the name of the petitioner's grandfather. Annexure-E is the notice issued by the Tahsildar calling upon the grantee to pay the kimmath. Learned counsel submits that in the RTCs at Annexures-H and H1, the names of various grantees are found. The prayer in the petition is to issue necessary directions to the second respondent - Tahsildar,

Devanahalli Taluk to consider the representations given by the petitioner to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records after collecting the payment. 3.
The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Devanahalli Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexures-A and A1 dated 25.03.2021 and 06.07.2021, verify the records and find out whether Late Thimmaiah @ Thimmanna was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Late Thimmaiah @ Thimmanna, the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter his name in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit. Thereafter the Tahasildar shall find out who are the legal heirs of late Thimmaiah is produced to enter their names in the land records in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate
