This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “I) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction directing Respondents to withdraw, recall and/or cancel any communication, request, instruction or direction issued to Respondent No.3, whereby the Petitioner-company's Bank Account No. 10000947728 maintained with Respondent No.3, This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 30/07/2026 at 15:36:30 IDFC FIRST Bank, Netaji Sub hash Place Branch, Delhi, has been put on hold, partially frozen, subjected to lien and/ or debit restrictions; II) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction directing Respondent No.3 to forthwith remove all freeze/lien/hold markings and restore full and unhindered operation of the Petitioner-company's Bank Account No. 10000947728; III) Declare the impugned instructions / actions of Respondents pursuant to which the Petitioner-company's bank account has been partially frozen and amounts have been placed under lien, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice and contrary to law; IV) Direct that no further coercive steps, attachment, debit, recovery or transfer of any amount from the Petitioner company's Bank Account No. 10000947728 shall be undertaken by any Respondent or investigating agency without prior notice and adequate opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner during the pendency of the present Petition; V) Direct the Respondents to furnish to the Petitioner copies of all complaints, communications, directions, portal requests, orders and materials relied upon for imposing the impugned restrictions; VI) Issue appropriate directions to Respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3 to implement fair guidelines / Standard Operating This is a digitally signed order. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Mr. Srinivasan, learned SPC accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1and 2, and Mr. Tripathi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No. 3. 4. Mr. Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3, states that as per his instructions there is no debit freeze on the petitioner’s account and only a credit freeze has been marked, that too at the petitioner’s request. 5. His statement is taken on record and the respondent No. 3 is bound by the same. 6. In view of his statement, the cause of action for the petitioner no longer survives. For the said reasons, the petitioner shall be permitted to operate its account. In case there is any other difficulty, the petitioner will be free to approach respondent No. 3 bank and respondent No. 3 shall do the needful to assist the petitioner. 7.
