The petitioner is an accused in connection with Town P.S. Case No.205 of 2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner and some of his friends had kidnapped the daughter of the informant. The victim was subsequently recovered from the custody of the petitioner. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been compromised between the parties and that the petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2025. It has further been submitted that no allegation has been made with respect to any sexual act on the part of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid fact, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sahibganj in connection with Town P.S.
