HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD CIVIL REVISION DEFECTIVE No. - 49 of 2021 Court No. - 54 HON'BLE ANIL KUMAR-X, J.
Order on Delay Condonation Application
1. Learned counsel for the revisionist is present. None appears on behalf of the respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the revisionist submits that the revision could not be preferred within the prescribed period due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From a perusal of the record, it is apparent that by means of the delay condonation application, the revisionist has prayed for condonation of delay in filing the revision against the order dated 28.07.2018. The delay condonation application was moved on 10.08.2021. However, there is no explanation for the period from 2018 to March 2020, whereas the COVID- 19 pandemic began in March 2020. The cause shown is insufficient.
3. Accordingly, the delay condonation application is dismissed.
