WP No. 15171 of 2026 For Petitioner(s): Mr.R.Sreedhar For Respondent(s): Mr.D.Ravichander,SGP https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 15171 of 2026 ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him and correct the FMB Sketch for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on his representation dated 04.08.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 08.05.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with by this Court. 4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. 5. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 2 and 3 if the said authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 15171 of 2026 petitioner’s property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and to correct the FMB Sketch for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent and any neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to issue notice to the fourth respondent as well as the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and correct the FMB Sketch for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
