ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court calling in question an
order of the concerned Court dated 16-12-2025 by which the concerned Court rejects the application filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time to make a deposit before the concerned Court, as obtaining under Section 148 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
2. Heard Smt. Nandini B, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Sri S M Anees Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if two weeks time is granted, the demand draft which is already taken would be deposited before the concerned Court.
4. In the light of the said submission, as also on perusal of the demand draft, I deem it appropriate grant the petitioner two weeks' time from today, to make the deposit of 20% of the amount. Subject to the said condition, the order of suspension of sentence shall stand revived.
5. In the event the petitioner would not deposit the amount in the next two weeks as directed, the order of suspension of sentence would get automatically vacated. With the aforesaid observations, petition stands disposed.
Consequently, I.A.No.1 of 2025 also stands disposed.
