Mr. Anit Dey ….for the petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguly Mr. Karan Bapuli ….for the State Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that other than the statement of a co-accused, there is no incriminating material available in the case diary against the present petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the statements of a co- accused as well as the statements of other witnesses who had taken the name of the petitioner as having been involved in such activities. Huge cache of arms along with counterfeit currency were recovered from a co-accused. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. 2 Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
