Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record. This application under Section 529 BNSS has been filed seeking direction to the court concerned to expedite the case no. 27055 of 2023 (State vs. Sushil Kumar and others), bearing Case Crime No. 0127 of 2023, under Section 60 Excise Act and 120B IPC, Police Station Phase-II, District Gautam Budh Nagar, pending before the court of learned A.C.J. (J.D.)-II, Gautam Budh Nagar. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that after filing the charge sheet on 17.4.2023, cognizance has been taken on the same and summoned issued to the applicant on 24.5.2023. Thereafter, applicant appeared before the trial court and got bail vide order dated 10.1.2024. It is also submitted that applicant is already on interim bail in the aforesaid case. Learned counsel for the applicant, therefore, submits that, considering the considerable period for which the proceedings have remained pending, a suitable direction may be issued to the court concerned for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid case. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to expedite the aforesaid case and conclude the trial in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Mukesh Saroj, Prem Chand Saroj Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : G.A.
