By this petition, petitioner herein is seeking a direction upon respondents to issue fresh passport in the name of petitioner by correcting the date of birth on the basis of Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority and further to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2025 and 24.12.2025 made before respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to consider the actual date of birth of the petitioner as 05.05.1958 instead of 27.11.1956. 2. Per contra in the reply filed by the respondents, it is stated that the petitioner herein has suppressed material facts, he has deliberately concealed the existence and particulars of his earlier passport bearing No. N15555378 was issued on 27.08.2015. The date of the birth of the petitioner in the fresh application is different from the date of the birth in the previous passport. Since there are certain discrepancies in the application, petitioner has been advised to re-apply under the re-issue WP (C) No.326/2026 category, strictly in accordance with Passport Act, Rules and Regulations. The file of the application has been closed on 13.11.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner can again apply for issuance of passport strictly in accordance with Passport Act, Rules and Regulations. 4. Be that as it may, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to apply afresh for issuance of passport under re-issuance category, thereby disclosing all the information strictly in terms of Passport Act, Rules and Regulations. Subject for filing of the application respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner taking into account his medical health, expeditiously. 5. Disposed of.
